Mosaic of Beauty
Within this vast blue ocean we are all part of, we find ourselves sitting and waiting as the horizon settles before us in golden light.
We begin to release the parts of ourselves that have been carried for far too long. The fear we faced, the shadows we confronted, the adversity we endured, and even the identities we formed around what we survived.
These things shaped us. They taught us. They revealed strength we may never have known was there.
But we no longer need to carry them forward in order to remember who we are.
There is no more fighting left.
The ocean holds a mirror before us as we rest in the stillness of possibility.
Within this endless expanse of open water, there is room for something new to emerge. What once felt uncertain begins to feel sacred, not because we know what comes next, but because we are finally willing to trust what God may be unfolding before us.
Sometimes freedom comes only after the shock of seeing clearly.
We cannot return to what we once believed simply because the truth has changed us. What has been revealed cannot easily be unseen.
So rather than resist it, we allow truth to become a doorway into healing, freedom, and renewal.
As we do, threads of light begin to descend over the Earth.
They hang above us as we sit within this vast ocean of possibility, not demanding to be understood, only waiting to be received.
We reach upward and take hold of them.
And as the threads meet our hands, we begin to weave them into our lives.
Some carry truth.
Some carry grace.
Some carry the wisdom born from everything we have already walked through.
Others seem to hold the quiet possibility of what has not yet been created.
We do not own these threads. We simply choose what we will do with what has been placed before us.
With each choice, each act of forgiveness, each moment of courage, and each willingness to love more deeply, the pattern begins to change.
What once felt scattered begins to take form.
Thread by thread, our lives become part of a larger design. One we may not be able to see in full, but one that is being woven through us all the same.
Truth was never meant to belong to one person.
None of us needs to stand above another. There is no position we must constantly defend and no wisdom that belongs only to us.
And when there is nothing left to prove or possess, we are free to forgive.
We are free to love.
The past no longer gets to decide who we will become.
We do not have to surrender the present to stories that have already served their purpose.
The past brought us here and revealed what we needed to see.
But it does not have authority over what comes next.
We are free to choose differently.
We are free to walk forward with greater wisdom, greater compassion, and a deeper trust in the path God is placing before us.
And as we continue weaving these threads into our lives, the colors begin to gather.
Every person brings a different story, gift, perspective, and light of their own.
The colors do not need to disappear into one another in order to belong together.
Their beauty is found in the way they remain distinct while becoming part of something larger.
Perhaps this is what unity truly is.
Not the loss of individuality.
Not becoming exactly the same.
But learning to stand beside one another without diminishing the light God placed within each of us.
And so we remain here for a moment longer, together, within this vast blue ocean.
The water reflects us back to ourselves, changed by everything we have lived through and softened by everything we are finally willing to release.
And somewhere between the open horizon before us and the stories we have finally laid down behind us, a beautiful mosaic begins to take shape.
Each thread different.
Each color distinct.
Each life carrying its own beauty.
Together, they become part of something greater than any one of us could create alone.
Perhaps that is the beauty of what we are becoming.
